Full Drying of Sludge

Thermal sludge drying is a process where the dewatered sludge from a wastewater treatment plant is dried using external heat to produce a Class A sludge. The dried product is a sterile granular biosolid with 90-95% solids content. The dried product can be used as a fertiliser supplement, soil conditioner or a sustainable fuel. Haarslev Industries offers two complete drying systems for full drying of municipal and industrial sludge.

Haarslev Rotadisc Drying System Haarslev rotadisc drying system – a disc dryer with oil or steam heating. This system offers the option of heat recovery for district heating.		Enersaver Drying System (Flo-Dry)  Flo-Dry Enersaver - a two-stage dryer - where the first stage is a direct fired hot air rotary dryer and the second stage is a belt-type dryer. This system reuses heat from the first stage thus offering a reduction in energy costs.
