Gel Bone Process
In the gel bone process, fat, bone and protein factions are rapidly heated (4-6 min.) and the bone and protein fractions are separated from the fat by decanter centrifuging.
The bone and protein fraction is dried in a direct fired air dryer. The gel bone is screened out of the meal. The tallow is of high quality and the meal is low in fat and ash and highly digestible.
